The Indiana Fall State Games have come to a conclusion and brought over 200 uncommitted prospects from around the state to Championship Park. The bulk of this years' roster came from the uncommitted 2028-2029 crowd, however there was a solid group of unsigned seniors at the Fall State Games per usual. With recruiters on hand, as well as following our coverage from the comfort of their own home. Read below to find notes on sixteen impact 2027s from the event and stay tuned for more post-event coverage.

Unsigned Seniors

*listed alphabetically*

+ RHP Joey Acquaviva, Zionsville: A 6-foot, 185-pounder with four solid shapes. Lifts to a tall, athletic balance point before a simple move down the slope. Works down the mound with square shoulders and there is some effort present in the operation as a full, clean arm follows. Flooded the zone at 79% clip with an 81-83 mph fastball. Showed two breaking balls in the upper 70s, including a curveball with some depth and a shorter slider. Also, showed some feel for a change in the mid 70s that he killed spin on.
- Conner Madding (Manager, Content & Operations / Area Scout)

+ RHP Gavin Banks, Bloomington South: Banks caught my eye in a scrimmage in the spring and it was nice to get another look at the right-hander. An athletic frame at 6-foot, 156 pounds with room to add plenty of strength. The delivery is unique as Banks lifts quickly to a moderate balance point before an aggressive drop-and-drive move down the slope. Gains 7-foot plus of extension with a 4-foot-1 release height. The arm swing is full circle and turns over quickly to a ¾ slot. Fastball was up to 83.5 mph with more in the tank as he adds mass. Showed a 72-75 mph slider that spun into the 2100s. I liked the athletic move down the slope and the outlier release traits that allow Banks velocity to play up.
- Conner Madding (Manager, Content & Operations / Area Scout)

+ C Nick Crowley, Munster: Crowley put together a solid showing at the plate, posting a max exit velocity of 98.4 mph during batting practice and found some barrels during gameplay. A strong, physical catcher at 6-foot-1 and 215 pounds, Crowley works with a compact swing that gets on plane quickly, showing the ability to drive the ball with authority. His short, uphill path creates present power and allows him to produce hard contact. Behind the plate, Crowley showed serviceable actions with on-target throws. Crowley’s present bat strength and ability to drive the baseball add to his profile behind the plate.
- Nolan Netter (Regional Scout & Operations Assistant)

+ OF Corban Dalton, Bloomington South: Dalton showed a solid mix of athleticism and feel for the barrel throughout the day. Reached a peak exit velocity of 94 and running a 6.89 60-yard dash. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound outfielder has a lengthy, athletic build with room to add strength. At the plate, Dalton starts from a balanced, wider stance with active hands and a controlled stride, working on a level plane through the hitting zone. Dalton showed some barrel feel in gameplay as he added a hit. In the outfield, he showed athletic footwork and a clean exchange, pairing his actions with an 84 mph arm. With his athleticism and room for future growth, Dalton is a name to follow in the 2027 class.
- Nolan Netter (Regional Scout & Operations Assistant)

+ C Brock Donat, Penn: At 6-foot-1, 215-pounds, Donat brings a physical frame with some athleticism, as well. He showed well during gameplay, barreling up multiple pitches and driving one backside for a triple. The right-handed hitter works from a strong base with a controlled stride and level swing path, showing the ability to create hard contact. Behind the plate, Donat showed strong receiving skills and reached 78 mph from the crouch. He also ran a 7.14 60-yard dash, showing a solid run-tool for his size. Donat’s combination of physicality, offensive ability, and work behind the plate makes him an interesting follow at the position.
- Nolan Netter (Regional Scout & Operations Assistant)

+ RHP Isaiah Frank, Brebeuf: Frank was my favorite uncommitted senior arm from the event. A 6-foot, 180-pound right-hander with an athletic delivery and quick arm stroke. Held 84-86.4 mph with the fastball over his two frames, and we’ve seen it up to 89 earlier this year. The go-to pitch is the breaking ball, a two-plane offering in the mid-70s that spun into the 2500s and induced whiffs. Also, showed a low-80s changeup which he used sparingly. Frank lifts quickly to a moderate balance point before an in-line move down the slope. The intent is late and the arm speed stands out on the backside. A reliable strike-thrower with quality feel to spin the baseball, Frank is a strong uncommitted option for schools.
- Conner Madding (Manager, Content & Operations / Area Scout)

+ 1B Noah Hayes, FW Canterbury: Hayes showed well during his round of batting practice, reaching a peak exit velocity of 99.7 mph with a max distance of 363 feet. The right-handed hitter stands at 6-foot-3, 182-pounds with a lean, wiry build and plenty of room to add strength. He starts from a wide setup with the hands held high, using a simple load and stride to get into position. Quick hands and above-average bat speed generate pop off the barrel, with some twitch in the upper half. Hayes’ combination of present bat speed and room to add strength gives him plenty of upside moving forward.
- Nolan Netter (Regional Scout & Operations Assistant)

+ SS Jackson Jones, Bedford North Lawrence: Jones showed well across the board during the workout portion. Turned in a consistent round of batting practice in which he averaged 84.9 mph off the bat and peaked at 96.2 mph. He sets up in a wider base with some weight in the back leg before a small hand load and short, simple stride forward. The bat path works uphill through contact and he utilized a gap-to-gap approach throughout his round. Burned a sub-7 60-time and showed solid actions on the dirt with an average arm across the diamond. A fundamental player with solid bat-to-ball skills at the dish and playable actions on the dirt.
- Conner Madding (Manager, Content & Operations / Area Scout)

+ RHP Jack Kluemper, Jasper: A 6-foot-2, 175-pound right-hander with plenty of room to pack on strength. The Jasper product pitched at 81-84 mph over his frames, flashing some ride/run properties at times. Mixed two breaking balls, a 70-74 mph slider with shorter sweep and a 69-71 curveball with a touch more depth. The delivery is simple as he lifts quickly to a moderate balance point before a shorter stride down the slope. The arm swing is shorter on the backside and works with some pace to a lower slot.
- Conner Madding (Manager, Content & Operations / Area Scout)

+ OF/P Christian McWilliams, Charlestown: A sturdy, 6-foot-2, 240-pounder two-way prospect who brought intrigue on both sides of the ball. Showed tremendous raw power in batting practice, peaking at 106.8 mph per trackman, which ranked second at the entire event. The bat speed jumps out as he turns the barrel on a slightly uphill plane. The arm strength is solid as he was 87 mph from the outfield and hopped on the bump and pitched in the low 80s. Mixed a mid-70s slider (2000s) and flashed a mid 70s change, too. The run tool is average to slightly above average with a 7.15 60-time at this event. An uncommitted prospect from the southern part of the state with explosive abilities in the box, some arm strength and moves better than the frame would suggest.
- Conner Madding (Manager, Content & Operations / Area Scout)

+ OF Isaac Ochoa, Lake Central: Ochoa showed well during gameplay, collecting multiple hits with a twitchy swing and showing quality swing decisions throughout the day. He works with quiet hands and shows accuracy in the barrel with a natural ability to use all fields. Ochoa peaked at 88.3 mph in a consistent batting practice round. Burned a 6.90 60-yard dash to begin the day, although he turned in a 6.76 earlier this year. His foot-speed gives him the ability to cover ground in the outfield, and with his twitchy actions and feel for the barrel, Ochoa is an uncommitted name to follow in the 2027 class.
- Nolan Netter (Regional Scout & Operations Assistant)

+ RHP Dylan Pearcy, Southport: Pearcy tossed two no-hit frames and punched out six over a strong outing. The fastball worked at 83-86 mph with two solid secondary offerings in the bag. A shorter sweeping slider at 75-78 and a fading change at 77-80. Pearcy builds pace as he lifts to a taller balance point before a clean move down the slope. The arm works clean and quick to a ¾ slot on the backside. An intentful operation with some deception present. The fastball plays up and Pearcy showed solid control for all three offerings in his two-inning stint. The 6-foot-3, 190-pound frame has projection remaining and another jump is likely as more strength is added. Good uncommitted follow in the 2027 class.
- Conner Madding (Manager, Content & Operations / Area Scout)

+ 3B Aaron Peetz, Franklin Central: Peetz put together a strong all-around day at the Fall State Games, collecting a pair of hits during gameplay while showing bat strength in the workout portion as he topped out at 100.8 mph off the bat with a max distance of 360 feet in BP. The right-handed hitter has a strong build and has quick hands that work through the zone on a level plane. He uses an early load and toe-tap stride to get on time, creating impact with a line-drive approach. Defensively, Peetz showed confident footwork and soft hands at the hot-corner with an 84 mph arm across the diamond. With his present bat strength and solid actions on both sides of the ball, Peetz is an uncommitted name to follow in the 2027 class.
- Nolan Netter (Regional Scout & Operations Assistant)

+ 1B Evan Stone, Lawrence North:  A physical right-handed bat, Stone put together a strong round of BP, reaching 98 mph off the bat with a max distance of 381 feet. The 5-foot-11, 200-pound first baseman hits from a tall, narrow stance with a simple hand load, working on a slight uphill plane. Defensively, Stone showed steady actions around the bag with soft hands and a clean exchange. Stone’s present bat strength and ability to drive the ball to all fields stood-out in Kokomo this past weekend.
- Nolan Netter (Regional Scout & Operations Assistant)

+ RHP Isaac Whitt, Yorktown: A 6-foot, 180 pounder that pitched at 80-81 mph and touched 83 once. The heater played up as he averaged 19” of vert throughout his outing and he was in the zone with it at a 75% clip. The breaking ball played well off it at 72-75 mph as he induced several ugly swings versus quality hitters. Whitt builds pace gradually as he lifts to a tall balance point before a repeatable move down the slope. The arm swing is longer and works to a higher slot. Attacked hitters throughout his outing and gave hitters fits with a more north-south mix.
- Conner Madding (Manager, Content & Operations / Area Scout)

+ 3B PJ Wright, Hamilton Heights: Wright showed a strong offensive profile during his workout, topping out at 96.7 mph EV in BP. The 6-foot-1, 195-pound third baseman has a physical presence with quick, strong hands that help produce impact off the barrel. He works with a simple load and an uphill swing path, creating easy lift and showing the ability to drive the ball in the air. The power he showed in batting practice carried into gameplay, producing loud contact to the deeper parts of the outfield.
