Chipola college

*Previously seen at the JUCO Twin Classic

Ivan Johnson, INF, Chipola, FL
6-foot, 190-pound infielder, strong, athletic frame, clearly defined muscle, saw time at shortstop and third base. Continues to have a strong fall campaign. Locked-in offensively once again, the switch-hitter has present bat speed and power from both-sides. Good pre-pitch rhythm, strong hands through contact, found barrels consistently. Simple approach from left-side, given athleticism and power drives balls into gaps. Defensively, profiles at third base, showed enough arm strength and body control on run through.

Joshua Rivera, MIF, Chipola, FL
5-11, 175-pound athletically-built middle infielder. A defensive leader for Chipola, commands the infield, vocal, constantly giving instructions and signals. Natural instincts, quick first step, moves with fluid motions, showed a high-level of athleticism and balance on numerous plays, makes transfer and release quickly, utilizes multiple arm slots. Offensively, right-handed hitter, takes a line drive approach, barrel path works level through the zone, uses speed to occupy defense.

Connor Kehl, OF, Chipola, FL
5-11, 175-pound, athletic right-handed outfielder. Sets up with a high back elbow, barrel path works level through zone, at-times can be uphill. Middle line drive approach, squared the ball up on several occasions..

Wallace CC-Dothan

Jared Shemper, LHP, Wallace CC-Dothan, AL
Mississippi State commit. 6-foot-1, 200-pound left-handed pitcher. Deception in delivery, quick motion, high leg kick, limbs flying, finishes upright with a hop. Short arm action, quick arm speed. Fastball, sat 86-88, left little over the heart of the plate. Curveball, good feel for, 11/5 shape, some late action to, 73-74.

Jackson Greene, INF, Wallace CC-Dothan, AL
6-foot, 200-pound right-handed hitting infielder, athletically-built with present strength, profiles as a third baseman. Offensively, hands start high, drop on load, present bat speed, has gap-to-gap abilities. Defensively, hands and arm work to stick on the left-side of the infield.

Golston Gillespie, C/1B, Wallace CC-Dothan, AL
Ole Miss transfer. 6-foot-4, 225-pound switch-hitting catcher and first baseman. Strong, projectable frame. Gap-to-gap type hitter with pull-side power. Squared the ball up in almost every at-bat. Frame plus switch-hitting abilities should make for an interesting follow.

Justin Farmer, OF, Wallace CC-Dothan, AL
6-1, 195-pound, right-handed hitting outfielder, strong, athletic build, translates into overall game. Offensively, sets up slightly open, high hands, leg kick timing trigger, maintains good balance throughout. Present bat speed, gap-to-gap hitter with real power to the pull-side, natural lift to swing. Launched a no-doubt home run to left field in one at-bat.

Lurleen B. Wallace CC

Cody Herring, RHP, Lurleen B. Wallace CC, AL
6-foot-3, 190-pound right-handed pitcher, high-waist, strong build with lean muscle, wide shoulders. Works out of the stretch-only, long arm action, shows on back-side, ¾ slot, above-average arm speed. Drop and drive delivery. Fastball sat 89-91. Curveball, slurve-like, 10/4 shape, maintains slot and arm speed, 76.

Bryson Gandy, OF, Lurleen B. Wallace CC, AL
5-foot-11, 190-pound left-handed hitting outfielder, athletically-built, clearly defined muscle throughout frame, hit second in the order. Offensively, barrel path works level through the zone, line drive approach, looks to put in play and use athleticism. Made square contact up the middle, aggressive on the basepath.

Landon Pritchett, 1B/LHP, Lurleen B. Wallace CC, AL
6-foot-4, 210-pound, two-way prospect, athletic build, room for continued filling out. Offensively, hits the ball where it is pitched, good hand eye, puts the ball in play. On the mound, fastball sat 84-86 with armside run and late life, trouble for right-handed hitters as he pounded the zone away. Curveball, 1/7 shape, 73.
