-There were a lot of good players who were submitted for the Week 1 POTW award, however, 2023 LHP/OF Kade Anderson (St. Paul's HS) put on a show on opening night, in our game of the week that featured St. Paul's vs. Catholic BR, with the Wolves winning 5-4.  The LSU commit struck out 10 batters in 4 IP and also collected two big hits at the plate.  Anderson then followed up that performance with a one hit shutout against McGill Toolen (Mobile, AL) where he struck out 14 over 6 innings.
