The Maryland State Association of Baseball Coaches released their Pre-Season All-State team yesterday. 37 players across the state received the honor. Here are some highlights from the release.
+Eight programs had multiple players make the list (Archbishop Spalding, Colonel Richardson, Gaithersburg, Hammond, Parkside, Riverdale Baptist, Saint James, St. Mary's)
+Spalding led all programs with four players to make the list (Tyler Blohm, Billy Godrick, David Harding, Carter Sears)
+St. Mary's had three make the list (Brady O'Neil, Stephen Pelli, Elliot Zoellner)
+As expected, seniors dominate the list headlined by Maryland's top three ranked players in Matt Mervis, Anthony Felitti, and Zoellner.
+2017 top four ranked players Jeremy Arocho, Randy Bednar, Grant Burleson, and Kieran Garner make the list.
+Other 2017's of note to make the list include Gunner Barnard (Marriotts Ridge), Jack Schroeder (Mount Hebron), and Connor Shockley (Parkside)
+2018 grads Pelli and Kody Milton (Severna Park) lead the sophomore class.
