We would like to thank all who participated in the PBR Michigan 2019 Western Michigan Showcase. This was a great opportunity for the class of 2020-2023 prospects to be put on college radars. Many players impressed during their individual workouts at the showcase.

Steven Shelton RHP / OF / South Lyon, MI / 2020Hitting: At the plate has some motion with quick hands . Line drive hitter who understands how to use his barrel. Worked the middle of the diamond. Gap to gap approach. Top hand release on the swing. Fielding: Athletic OF that moves quickly through the ball. Takes aggressive steps with a long arm action. Good carry on his throws. Pitching: On the mound takes a step left moving to his balance point while turning inward. Ball is easy out the hand showing arm side run on the fastball. Fastball sat 84-86 mph down in the strike zone. Curve showed a sweeping action 68-69 mph. Change up showed a fading action 74-75 mph. |
