PBR: Why did you choose Concordia?

Thomkins III: I chose Concordia because they showed great interest in me. The college is small and a close community that I feel comfortable in. Their sports teams are continuing to get better each year and I wanted to be a part of what's to come in the future.

PBR: What other schools were you considering?

Thomkins III: I was considering Hillsdale College, Spring Arbor University, and Benedictine University.

PBR: Where did the coaching staff first see you?

Thomkins III: The coaching staff first saw me at one of the PBR showcases at the University of Michigan.

PBR: What team do you play for in the summer and what is your most memorable moment.

Thomkins III: I play for the Wolverines 18U team out of Kalamazoo in the summer. My most memorable moment was hitting the game winning home run against the Detroit Eagles.

PBR: What factor played the biggest role in your decision?

Thomkins III: The coaching staff at Concordia University always checking up on me and showing the most interest in me.

PBR: What were your expectations about the recruiting process?

That the process would be very long and tedious.

PBR: What were your stats last spring season?

Thomkins III: BA- .415 RBIs- 35 HR- 2 Stolen Bases- 19 Walks- 25

PBR: Who is the toughest pitcher that you have faced?

Thomkins III: Jake Lincoln from Lumen Christi High School.
