PBR: Why did you choose Wayne State?

Hovde: I really liked the coaches from the time I met them and the university in general.

PBR: What other schools were you considering?

Hovde: Ohio Dominican

PBR: Where did the coaching staff first see you?

Hovde: I think they saw me in the summer or at events. 

PBR: What team do you play for in the summer and what is your most memorable moment.

Hovde: I played with the Motor City Hitdogs. The best moment was playing in the perfect game tournament in Atlanta Georgia.

PBR: What were your expectations about the recruiting process?

Hovde: To take visits and meet coaches in order to get a feel for what it like to play in college as well as get an idea of who you are playing for. 

PBR: Who is the toughest hitter that you have faced?
