A game that went back and forth for the first five innings, saw Jenison pull out the win over Grand Rapids Christian 6-3.  Michigan State commit, Dakota Mekkes, would get the win for Jenison throwing a complete game with seven strikeouts.

David Zweirs would give Grand Rapids Christian the lead in the top of second with a base clearing double scoring two runs. Not to be out done, Kalamazoo College commit Cooper Logsdon would double in the bottom of second scoring two runs.

Logsdon would be the offensive highlight for both teams going 4-for-4 with three RBI, his last RBI would give Jenison the lead for good with a key two-outs two-strike hit in the bottom of the fifth.

Rising junior Austin Batka would take the loss throwing 5.2 innings with 10 strikeouts. Batka sat between 84-86 mph on the gun but struggled with his command at times.
