Michigan Insider: Top 2017 Uncommitted Outfielders

With the Summer season coming to an end and the 2016-2017 high school sports season as well as fall ball getting underway, we would like to take a look at some of the top uncommitted prospects at each position.

Today we are starting with the top uncommitted senior outfielders in Michigan. We will look to create a few top uncommitted lists each week, as you can see by our 2017 Player Rankings there are numerous talented prospects available.

Jordan Patterson, Tecumseh
Ranked: 56th  in Michigan’s 2017 class
Scouting Report: Patterson has an athletic 5-foot-10, 175-pound frame. Stands open in an athletic stance and uses a leg kick with his load while keeping his barrel flat through the zone. Had an exit velocity of 84 mph and ran a 6.55 60-yard dash. Possesses plus range in the outfield with the ability to take good routes and a velocity of 85 mph to home plate.
College outlook: Jordan is a raw athlete with a physical tool set that all coaches love. He runs a 6.55 in the 60 yard dash, while throwing well from the outfield with an 85 mph OF velocity. He’s a strong defender whose bat has shown good in progress.
