PBR – Michigan Director of Scouting

Jack Trimble 2014 Port Huron Northern HS

PBR - Why did you choose Aquinas? What do you plan to study in college?

Trimble - I chose Aquinas because it met the standards I was looking for in a school. Small school, great academics, and located in a big city.  I plan on studying Pre-Med.

PBR - Who is the best player you have played with or against?

Trimble - Mitch Houle is the best player I've played with. He just finished up his second season at St. Clair County Community College. I played one year of varsity baseball and a year of travel ball with him.

PBR - What are your goals for the season ahead as a team and personal?

Trimble - Our team goals are to win our league and to win districts and go from there. Personally, I would like to finish the season hitting .375+ and become more defensively sound.

PBR - Who has influenced your baseball career the most?

Trimble - Scott Tesluck, my travel coach. I've learned a lot about the game from him and he has really helped with my mechanics to get me to the player that I am today.

PBR - What is your most memorable moment in baseball?

Trimble - Getting the opportunity to play on the fields of the  University of Michigan and the University of Cincinnati
