The Michigan Unsigned Senior Games will take place on August 8th and 9th at Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids. This annual event will showcase more than 70+ of the top uncommitted rising seniors in the state and even features a Canadian prospect. Today we will take a look at some of the top hitters that will be attending the event.

Richard Chan is the lone Canadian and lone 2013 prospect attending the event, but he is a real hidden gem. In 2012 Chan led the 18U Windsor Selects with a .381 batting average, tied for the team lead in home runs with three, and was second on the team with ten doubles. His fielding percentage was .920. Chan was also selected to play in the Sunbelt Classic in MacAllister, Oklahoma in 2011. Chan best projects at the next level as a second baseman. Chan recently put on a hitting display at the Cincy Flames Dinger Wood Bat World Series in July, going 10-13 with three walks and not striking out in five games. That performance included two hits off of a Louisville commit. Needless to say, Chan could be a last-minute steal for the right school. Chan is from Sandwich Secondary School.

Devin Rose is one of the best outfielders in the state of Michigan. He will be a four-year starter for traditional state power Orchard Lake St. Mary's and former Michigan Wolverine Matt Petry. Rose has been selected as a captain for the 2014 OLSM team. In 2013 Rose was voted by his teammates as the Team MVP and was First Team All-District and All-Catholic. Rose's two biggest strengths are his bat speed and his arm from the outfield, which has been clocked as high as 87 mph. Rose should cement his place as one of the best outfielders in the state in the next couple of days.

Andrew Manduzzi is a unique talent, as he can help teams on the mound and from behind the plate. In addition, he has some serious bat speed. Manduzzi was 82-84 mph on the mound in the past and can play third base. He is an exceptional blocker behind the dish. His change-up and breaking ball are tough on hitters due to the similar arm speed he uses when throwing his fastball. Manduzzi should be a fun one to watch for Macomb Dakota next spring.

Brennan Williams
is flat-out productive. The 6-foot-4 left-handed hitting first baseman has gap-to-gap power but also moves well around the bag, has good footwork, and soft hands. Williams hit .418 as a junior to earn All-Conference, All-Region, and All-District honors. Williams is a three-sport athlete for Walled Lake Northern and should be heavily leaned upon by the Knights this spring.
