Ethan Wiskur, RHP/C/SS, Flint Powers Catholic, 2013


Wiskur is long and lean standing at 6-foot-5, 205-pounds. He currently is rated No. 23 in the state. Wiskur can be described in one word: productive. This past season he was an All-State performer for Division 3 power Flint Powers Catholic. He had a 1.27 ERA and struck out 125 hitters over 61 innings. He is also a 4.21 GPA student.

On the mound he is raw but generates an fastball that sits 87-88 mph and he has sweeping breaking ball. Behind the plate, despite a longer release, his pop time was consistently around 2.0.

Even though Wiskur is not the most polished prospect in the class he certainly has upside. Provided Wiskur lands in a program that has a good history of developing its players, he will be productive at the next level as well.
