PBR Minnesota seeks to offer the most comprehensive coverage of prep baseball in the state of Minnesota. Our goal is to continue bringing recognition to those who play this game within the state and to showcase the deep talent pool that Minnesota is developing. Barron's commitment to NDSU is another example of a kid going to play at a high level. NDSU is a DI school that competes in the Summit League and has reached regional play in 2014 hosted by Oregon State. Congratulations to Barron and best of luck at the next level!

Barron: University of Minnesota, Purdue, Valparaiso, Minnesota State-Mankato

PBR:  Where did they first see you? How did your relationship develop with the coaching staff?Barron: They first saw me at a PBR showcase. Then we exchanged phone calls for a couple of months before they offered me.

PBR: What role do you expect to play your first year on campus?
Barron: I have the expectations of myself to be an impact player on the mound early on.

PBR: Who has had the biggest impact on you as a baseball player?
Barron: Throughout my career my dad has been very influential, and in my later years the Minnesota MASH staff have helped push me even further.
