The PBR MN Winter Open- Rochester event took place on Saturday, March 9, 2019. The event was held at the RCTC Dome in Rochester, MN.

The event was exclusive to 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 & 2023 grads who participated in the first Prep Baseball Report Minnesota event of 2019. 

Players showcased their talents in front of our scouting staff and college coaches in attendance. Thank you to the players, parents, my staff; along with the staff at the RCTC Dome and the Rochester Youth Baseball Association for such a great event.

There were a number of solid individual performances this year at the PBR MN Winter Open- Rochester event.

OUTFIELDER EVALUATIONS

Gunnar Benson, OF/LHP, Northfield, 2021
5-foot-9, 150-pound left-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.33 runner. Square stance with body load and double tap front foot trigger, long stiff arm bar in load, works out and around baseball, flashes hard pull contact, with occasional pop in bat, 78 mph exit velocity. Confident routes, decent athlete, short arm action, avg. carry with online accuracy to target, 78 mph arm strength from outfield.

Benjamin Brust, OF, Rochester Mayo, 2020
5-foot-9, 125-pound left-handed hitting outfielder. 7.81 runner. Narrow stance, easy load, ground ball and line drive contact
