PBR: What schools have expressed interest in you?
Thurston: As of right now, the schools that have expressed interest in me are DePauw, St. John’s, St. Olaf, Gustavus, Allegheny, and Luther College.
PBR: Have you taken any visits, or have any visits scheduled in the near future?
Thurston: Currently, I have not taken any visits. Also, given the current COVID situation, I don’t plan on taking any visits in the near future
PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school? (Example: high academics, certain academic program, local, etc.)
Thurston: I’m looking for a school outside of the Midwest with high academics and a great pre-med program
PBR: What were some of your highlights during your sophomore year?
Thurston: The highlight of my sophomore year was getting 3rd in the state tournament for VFW during the summer
PBR: What are your goals for this year?
Thurston: I’m focusing on pitching in the offseason, while getting stronger to help my team have a great 2021 season.
PBR: Do you play any other sports?
Thurston: I play football.
PBR: What is your ACT and GPA?
Thurston: My ACT is 35, and my weighted GPA is 4.19
