Scouting Report

6/17/19- 5-foot-9, 170-pound right-handed hitting outfielder. #35 ranked player in MN 2020 class. 6.82 runner. Square stance, leg kick trigger, easy swing, occasional length with arm bar, line drive pop in bat, consistently squares baseball, works mid/pull side of field, 82 mph exit velocity. Solid actions in field, compact arm action, online throws, accurate to target, 80 mph arm strength from outfield.

3/17/19- 5-foot-9, 170-pound right-handed hitting outfielder.  6.93 runner.  Athletic stance.  Comfortable at plate.  Good rhythm in load.  Solid swing plane.  Middle approach with line drive and fly ball contact.  Flashed pop in barrel.  Average barrel contact.  84 mph exit velocity.  OF- Moves athletically to field.  Good glove and footwork into throws.  85 mph arm strength with solid carry and accuracy.

6/17/18- 5-foot-9, 160-pound right-handed hitting outfielder. 6.83 runner. Fluid load, leg kick trigger, routinely squares baseball, has good feel for barrel, line drive and fly ball hitter, 82 mph exit velocity. Solid routes in field, solid defender, long stiff arm action, solid accuracy to target that lacks carry, 77 mph arm from outfield.

3/17/18- 5-foot-9, 155-pound right-handed hitting outfielder. Juliar did not get cheated at the plate, and with aggressive hips and a stronger bottom hand, he stroked balls from gap to gap during batting practice. The 5-foot-9, 155-pound outfielder ran a 6.99 60-yard dash, and then showed off some twitch at the plate. Allowing his hands to rock down and back freely with a knee-knock stride, Juliar’s barrel showcased some lag through the zone on an uphill plane as his quick hands drove it to the ball. Because the hands show enough quickness, and he has some strength, Juliar is an intriguing player to follow moving forward. Shows above avg. actions and ability in outfield, plays with quickness, works through ball, has solid athleticism, with accurate arm to target with carry at 82 mph. Strong follow in 2020 class.

7/5/17- 5-foot-8, 150-pound right-handed hitting outfielder. 6.99 runner. Square stance, knee to knee trigger, deeper load with arm bar, clean path through contact, flashes pop in bat, gap to gap approach, 81 mph exit velocity.
