Season Outlook
The St. Francis Borgia nights will look to repeat as Archdiocesan Athletic Conference champions this spring.  They will be lead by junior catcher Joe Schmidt, a Louisiana-Monroe recruit.  Schmidt, who stands 6-foot-2 225-pounds, is a physical presence behind the plate and in the batters box. Fellow juniors Spencer Hunter and Louie Eckelkamp were named All-Conference as sophomores and will provide power bats in the Borgia line up.  Watch for a big year out of returning All-State senior shortstop Drew Pointek and the school's all-time leading passer in football, senior RHP Jacob Unnerstall.  Both seniors are ready lead the Knights into the state playoffs.  St. Francis Borgia has the pieces to make a deep run into the state playoffs this spring.
