1/28/17 - Auer is a 6-foot 170-pound right-handed hitting outfielder and right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2019 class.  A Missouri State commit, Auer ran a 4.09 home to first and a 7.01 laser timed 60.  He has an 88 mph exit velo and is aggressive and athletic on the mound, at the plate and in the outfield. At the plate, starts with open stance, leg kick, in line stride, quick bat speed, level path, hard solid contact gap-to-gap during hitting evaluations.  In the outfield, 90 mph positional velo, one of the top velos of the event, attacks the ball and plays through the catch with momentum, strong, over the top reelase, mostl accurate throws. On the mound, Auer was 83-85 mph with occasional run to his fastball, one of top fastball velos for the event, breaking ball was sharp and late, 11-to-5 action, 69-72 mph, change up flashed run and sink at 74-76 mph, throws with some effort, strong and athletic frame, easy and loose arm action, high three quarters release.

10/23/16 - Auer is a 6-foot 160-pound right-handed hitting outfielder and right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2019 class.  He ran a 6.68 60, fastest 60 time for the event, and 4.22 home-to-first, one of the top times among RHH.  He has an exit velo of 86 mph, one of the top among RHH.  At the plate, starts in a wide stance, smooth and controlled load, quick hands, fast bat speed, middle to pull line drives during batting practice.  In the outfield, 90 mph positional velo, top outfield velo of the event, arm works, over the top release, quick to the ball, plays through the catch. On the infield, 85 mph across the infield, top infield velo of the event, quick feet with fluid glove to hand transfer, loose over the top arm action, plays through the ball, athletic and quick twitch actions, somewhat accurate throws, quick twitch athletic movements. On the mound, Auer worked his fastball at 80-to-83 mph, flashes late arm side run, curveball sharp at time, 67-72 mph, 12-to-6 action, command of change up at 76 mph, fastball arm speed, high three quarters release, controlled and smooth tempo in delivery, quick arm speed, throws with some effort and is aggressive down the mound.

10/11/15 - Mason is a 5-foot-10 145-pound right-handed hitting SS in the 2019 class.  He ran a 7.35 60 and has an exit velo of 74 mph.  Hard line drives to the middle of the field during batting practice, fast rhythm in pre-swing, loads hands, level path to extension, body stays controlled during swing, ran a 4.53 home-to-first. On the infield, 80 mph positional velo, aggressive to the ball, quick feet, long arm swing, arm works from different angles, loose action, plays through ball, mostly accurate throws.  Long-legged frame with projection.
