Prep Baseball Report Missouri held the Unsigned Senior Showcase on November 17 at the Center St. Louis in St. Louis, Missouri. Nearly twenty players in Missouri, Illinois and Kansas in the 2019 class attended.

Players can now update their profiles with a ProspectPlus subscription, while scouts and recruiters can add players on the ScoutPlus dashboard.

Joseph Brickey 1B / 3B / Holt, MO / 2019

6-foot, 200-pound, right-handed hitting first baseman, thick build. At the plate, athletic and open setup, smooth load back, drops hands on load, long stride with a small toe tap, contact point around the baseball, pull-side approach. 78 mph exit velocity off of batting practice. Defensively, soft hands, fluid footwork, quick and clean exchange. Long, stiff arm action, high ¾ arm slot. Throws topped at 68 mph. 4.75 home to first.

Thomas Carr LHP / Waterloo , IL / 2019

5-foot-10, 140-pound, lean frame, left-handed pitcher. Smooth rhythm, balanced delivery, long arm action, ¾ arm slot, quick arm speed, in-line direction, square landing, athletic finish, falls slightly to third base side. Ball jumps out of hand. 79-80 mph running fastball, topped out at 81 mph. 65-67 mph slider, sharp break, near fastball arm speed, throws with feel for strikes. 65-67 mph curveball, similar break as slider. 68-70 mph fading changeup, near fastball arm speed, down in the zone.

Pedro Cora OF / LHP / Roberto Clemente, IL / 2019

5-foot-10, 160-pound left-handed hitting outfielder. At the plate, athletic and open set up. Minimal movement in his hands, short and quick leg kick. Creates bat speed, level bat path, top-hand dominant swing, pull-side approach, good balance throughout swing. 76 mph exit velocity off of batting practice. Defensively, moves well, quick and fluid footwork, quick and clean exchange, plays through the ball, reliable hands. Long arm action, high ¾ with occasional over the top arm slot, throws topped at 80 mph. 4.63 home to first time.

Cole Ellis SS / OF / Caney Valley, KS / 2019

5-foot-11, 185-pound, strong frame, right-handed hitting infielder. At the plate, open and athletic setup, high hands, smooth load, short stride, gets front foot down early. Flat bat path, occasionally uphill, pull-side approach, power to pull-side, line drive hitter, 82 mph exit velocity off of batting practice. Defensively, fluid footwork, long arm action, high ¾ arm slot, accurate throws, throws topped at 70 mph. 4.78 home to first time.

Ryan Foley RHP / St dominic, MO / 2019

6-foot-4, 175-pound projectable frame, right-handed pitcher. Smooth rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction. Long arm action, high ¾ arm slot, quick arm speed. 75-76 mph fastball, hard, sinking action, down in the zone. 65-67 mph curveball, 11/5 gradual action. Impressive split-finger, 65-67 mph with feel, down in the zone for strikes.

Zach Gwynne RHP / 1B / Raymore-Peculiar, MO / 2019

6-foot-4, 230-pound, thick and physical frame, right-handed pitcher and first baseman. Stood out at the showcase. At the plate, balanced and athletic setup, small wrap in load, long leg kick. Explosive bat speed, flat bat path, pull side approach, power bat, 88 mph exit velocity off of batting practice, the highest exit velocity at the event. Defensively, moves well for size, soft hands, fluid foot work, clean exchange. Long and loose arm action, over the top arm slot with carry. Throws topped at 80 mph. On the mound, smooth delivery, long arm action, over the top arm slot, in-line direction, balanced, athletic finish falling toward first base slightly. Fastball 80-82 mph, slight run, big run on pitches arm-side, down in the zone for strikes. 11/5 curveball, sharp break, near fastball arm speed, 66-72 mph. 74-77 mph sinking changeup down in the zone. 4.75 home to first.

Hunter Haines OF / OF / Mascoutah High School, IL / 2019

5-foot-11, 180-pound, strong frame, right-handed hitting outfielder. At the plate, balanced setup, high hands, short and quick leg kick, balanced throughout swing. Flat bat path, line-drive hitter. 84 mph exit velocity off of batting practice. In the outfield, clean exchange, long arm action, accurate throws. Throws topped at 69 mph.

Trey Kueper C / 3B / Waterloo, IL / 2019

5-foot-9, 155-pound right-handed hitting catcher. At the plate, athletic set up, minimal load in his hands, small, hanging leg kick. Creates bat speed, uphill bat path, power to pull side, balanced throughout swing, 84 mph exit velocity off of batting practice. Defensively, soft hands, quick and fluid footwork, quick and clean exchange, short arm action, over the top arm slot. Accurate throws, topped at 68 mph. Athletic blocking balls in the dirt. 2.09 pop time to second. 4.88 home to first time.

Ty Kueper 1B / Waterloo, IL / 2019

6-foot, 170-pound, lean and athletic prospect, left-handed hitting first baseman. Impressive at the plate, tall and open setup, smooth load back with a slight wrap, short stride, closes off front side. Hips are explosive, creates bat speed, uphill bat path, consistent, hard contact to all fields, 86 mph exit velocity off of batting practice. Defensively, moves well, looks comfortable, soft hands, quick and fluid footwork, quick and clean exchange. High ¾ arm slot, short arm action, throws topped at 71 mph. 4.60 home to first time.

Max Meusey LHP / 1B / Parkway South , MO / 2019

6-foot-2, 175-pound, long and lean build, left-handed pitcher and left-handed hitting first baseman. At the plate, balanced and athletic setup, smooth back, slight wrap, short leg lift on stride. Flat bat path, balance throughout swing, power to pull-side, ability to backspin balls. 84 mph exit velocity off of batting practice. Defensively, soft hands, fluid footwork, quick and clean exchange, long arm action, over the top arm slot. Throws topped at 70 mph. 4.94 home to first time. On the mound, slow and smooth delivery, small leg kick, up-right at release point, in-line direction, slightly falls off to third base. Long arm action, over the top arm slot. 72-75 mph fastball, topped at 76 mph, natural cut. 60-63 mph changeup, natural cutting action. 58-61 mph curveball, gradual 11/5 break.

Trent Pryor 2B / SS / Nevada, MO / 2019

6-foot, 165-pound, long and lean frame, right-handed infielder. At the plate, balanced and athletic setup. Hands bar out, quick toe-tap in stride, lower-half collapses, level bat path, occasionally uphill. 77 mph exit velocity off of batting practice. Defensively, quick feet, long arm action, high ¾ arm slot, accurate throws with occasional carry. Throws topped at 71 mph. 4.57 home to first time.

Ray Rueve 2B / SS / Seckman High School, MO / 2019

5-foot-8, 150-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder. At the plate, slightly crouched, open and athletic setup. Smooth back with his hands, short stride, rhythm in load. Creates bat speed, slightly uphill bat path, gap-to-gap approach, occasional power to pull side, 80 mph exit velocity off of batting practice. Defensively, athletic, quick and fluid feet, clean exchange, short arm action, high ¾ arm slot, occasionally comes over the top, accurate throws, throws topped at 67 mph. 4.75 home to first time.

Tanner Sears C / 3B / Lafayette County C-1, MO / 2019

5-foot-11, 210-pound, thick frame, right-handed hitting catcher. A standout at the event offensively and defensively. At the plate, balanced and athletic setup, smooth load, slight wrap, short leg kick, gains ground toward pitch. Explosive lower half, flat bat path that occasionally gets uphill. Gap-to-gap approach, power to pull-side, 89 mph exit velocity off of batting practice. Defensively, soft hands, quick and fluid footwork, quick and clean exchange. Short arm action, high ¾ arm slot. Throws topped at 80 mph with carry. 1.87 pop time, the best at the event. 4.75 home to first.

Joey Trupiano C / RHP / Orchard Farm, MO / 2019

6-foot, 175-pound, long, lean frame, right-handed hitting catcher. At the plate, balanced and athletic setup, smooth load back, short stride gaining ground forward. Creates bat speed, flat bat path, power to pull side. 81 mph exit velocity off of batting practice. Defensively, soft hands, fluid footwork, long arm action, ¾ to high ¾ arm slot, throws topped at 69 mph. Athletic and fundamental blocking balls in the dirt. 2.32 pop time to second base. 4.75 home to first time.

Tanner Whitworth 2B / SS / Hazelwood West, MO / 2019

6-foot, 160-pound right-handed hitting infielder, lean build. At the plate, narrow and open setup, no load in hands, short, smooth leg kick, dives. Creates bat speed, flat bat path, occasionally uphill. Power to pull-side, pull-side approach. 84 mph exit velocity off of batting practice. Defensively, athletic, soft hands, fluid footwork, works around the ball, clean exchange. Long and loose arm action, high ¾ to over the top arm slot, reliable accuracy on throws. Throws topped at 74 mph. 4.53 home to first.
