Below we’ve detailed this update at a more in-depth level, shining some light on the top of the board, as well as a more overarching look at the class as a whole, which you can find by reading below.
The Top 10
The top 10 holds relatively steady since our last update at the end of fall, seeing two minor moves among players. RHP Jordan Martin (Jefferson City; Arkansas commit) remains at No. 1 followed by RHP Tyler Wood (Lee's Summit West; Tennessee). INF Caeden Cloud (Nixa; Kentucky) jumps one spot up into the top 3 followed by INF Sebastian Norman (Glendale; Oklahoma State) and RHP JD Dohrmann (St. John Vianney; Missouri) who jumps to No. 5. A pair of St. Louis area prospects in OF Leo Humbert (Francis Howell; Missouri) and RHP Richie Swain (Timberland; Mississippi State) fall in at No. 6 and 7 respectively. Rounding out the top 10 is OF Chase Porter (Kearney; Louisville), RHP Drake Gawer (Sullivan; Texas Tech) and Jackson Akin (Lee's Summit West; Oklahoma).
On the Rise...
+ A recent Missouri commit and 2024 Prep Baseball Senior Future Games standout, RHP Luke Sullivan (Parkway South) is up 7 spots up to No. 16 in this edition of our rankings. The 6-foot-4, 195-pound righty is packed with upside featuring a fastball that has been up to 91 mph with 20.3" of IVB at times, consistently pitching in the upper-80s, with a mid-70s slider with swing and miss upside and tumbling splitter.
+ A pair of Kansas City arms with fastballs in the low 90's, RHP Dennis Leonard (Grain Valley; Crowder) and LHP Ethan Rogers (Lone Jack; Wichita State) continue to move up our rankings after strong campaigns on the mound. Rogers slides up 2 spots to No. 11 while Leonard is up 7 spots to No. 64.
+ Up 8 spots to No. 74, OF Ethan Cantareira (Lindbergh; Lindenwood) continues to impress as an all-around athlete after making his Prep Baseball debut in February. A 6.89 runner with a left-handed swing that sprays line drives to all fields to go along with a 85 mph arm from the outfield, Cantareira has the tools to make an impact in all facets of the game.
+ LHP Cameron Mosier (Rockwood Summit; Evansville) is one of the biggest movers of this update. Up 79 spots since the last update, the recent Evansville commit was a standout on the mound this summer at the Missouri State Games, pitching in the low-to-mid-80s with more to come in a lean, 6-foot-1, 185-pound frame. His curveball/changeup mix shows swing and miss potential with the aptitude to command the zone.
+ A recent standout on the mound at the MO Fall Games in September, RHP Michael Sievers (Christian Brothers College) showed upside in a 6-foot, 156-pound frame, pitching in the low-80s with his fastball. The righty is up 51 spots in this update.
