Benz blasted a ball that traveled 365 feet at 96.5 mph, averaging 270 feet per batted ball and 91.1 mph off the barrel. He generated hard contact at a 77% clip, finding the sweet-spot 77% of the time at well. Benz’s knack for contact in the air, 55% line drive rate and 33.3% fly ball rate, is noteworthy given the thump he possesses.

Ryker Benz: 3B/RHP, (2025) Vianney, MO. 5-foot-10, 160-pound slim frame. During batting practice, Benz had an exit velocity of 81 mph. Starts in an active stance with a big load, then uses a toe tap. Bat speed was above average, used flat swing plane and level finish. Barreled up some balls throughout his round. Line drive approach. Solid while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 69 mph; shows a lengthy exchange, sure hands and developing feet. Showed a long arm action with decent accuracy to the bag. Clocked a time of 8.4 in the 60-yard dash. Average on the mound, showed some arm speed with a ¾ arm angle and a short arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows some effort. In his delivery his balance point is tall with downhill shoulders. Lands closed with an athletic finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 69-71 mph with a max of 72 mph; had arm side command and running action. He had gradual action on his slider (59-62). He shows low in the zone accuracy on changeup (61-62).
