TUESDAY, MARCH 7TH

+ RHP Eli Waters (Petal, 2023) looks to have gain a little velocity from last year. The lean, lanky 6-0 hurler from Petal was 86-88 mph (T89) on Tuesday night with some jump in the zone. Waters, a Pearl River CC recruit used his lively fastball and tight slider with spin nearing 2600 to stymy hitters all night inducing lots of swing and misses or very light contact. He now has 23 strikeouts in just 13 innings on the season and is a big contributor to the Panthers early season success which finds them with an 8-1 record so far in 2023.
