Wednesday, MARCH 9TH
+ INF/OF Larson Ingram (2022) of Magnolia Heights has tools to play at the next level. The middle infielder / outfielder showed off his ability to handle the bat on Wednesday with a couple of line drives and a well placed bunt for a hit. Ingram runs well and should be a legitimate target for anyone in need of a utility player. The uncommitted senior is a major part of a very dangerous lineup for the Chiefs.
+ OF Trey Bridges (2022) of Jackson Prep gave everyone a glimpse of his power potential on Wednesday. The Louisiana Monroe recruit found a pitch up in the zone and put plenty of barrel on it. Bridges frame has continually looked stronger each time we see him and shows lots of athleticism in his swing which could allow him to develop into a big time power threat at the next level.
+ INF Ethan Melton (2023) of Magnolia Heights is a spark plug. The South Alabama commit showed his worth on Wednesday with a couple of big swings including a triple with a "Charlie Hustle" slide into third. Not a large frame but has plenty of pop at contact! Melton also shows good speed out of the box and is very reliable on defense with good range.
+ 3B Jackson Scarbrough (2022) of Magnolia Heights did a great job of staying on plane at the plate on Wednesday. The uncommitted senior uses a solid line drive approach and shows the ability to work all fields. Definitely a bat that looks like it will play at the next level and he's available!
