The Prep Baseball Report Mississippi Preseason ID will take place on Sunday, January 28, 2017 at Smith-Wills Stadium in Jackson, MS .

The event is open to all players in the 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021 classes, also including several colleges to be in attendance. Spots are limited, but there is still time to register for this Sunday’s event. CLICK HERE to sign up for the Preseason ID.

Check-in for position players will begin at 9:20 AM and the event will kick off at 10:00 AM. Position players will go through a pro-style workout, which includes: run times, defensive evaluation with positional velocity, swing analysis with exit velocity and a round of batting practice.

Pitchers will throw bullpen sessions after the conclusion of the positional workouts. Pitchers ONLY’s check-in will begin at 12:00 AM. As always, players will have their performances video-taped and hosted on the Prep Baseball Report multi-media platform that is subscribed to by over 750 college coaches and professional scouts.

Currently, there are over 50 participants for this year’s event. The CURRENT ROSTER can be found here. A few notables to be sure to keep an eye on Sunday are uncommitted 2019 pitchers Kole Alford (North Pike), Mitch Murrell (Ocean Springs), and Shelby Terrell  (West Marion) among others.

These three arms are currently ranked No. 18, No. 22 and No. 39 respectfully in Mississippi’s 2019 class and impressed at November All-State Games.
