Madison, MS - The South Mississippi Rising Stars ID will be held this coming Saturday in Madison, MS at the Southern Performance Institute where our staff hosted our Mississippi Preseason All-State back in January. This open event will consist of prospects from the 2027-2028 classes across the Magnolia State. These players will go through a pro-style workout, where they will go through batting practice using TrackMan, run the 60 yard dash using Swift Performance, and much more. Pitchers will throw simulated bullpens during the workout and will be able to get numbers and metrics off of our TrackMan unit, such as pitch velocity, spring rate and much more.

Our staff is excited to get their eyes on the next wave of talent that is up and coming through the state.

We would like to take a moment and highlight all the players who will be in attendance at the event on Saturday.
