The 2018 summer has come and gone in the blink of an eye. There have been several talented seniors around the state who, displayed solid actions this summer and remain unsigned as the fall approaches. Today, the Prep Baseball Report Mississsippi scouting staff highlights three 2019 prospects that are still looking for an opportunity to continue their careers.

Julian Murphy C / 3B / Ridgeland, MS / 2019

Left-center field type approach with rotational path and bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 85 mph. Defensively, he sits high in the setup with quick, clean exchanges into short high-3/4 arm action. Pop times ranged from 1.95-2.07 and a positional velocity of 73 mph from the crouch. Ran a 7.44 60-yard dash.
