Unsigned Seniors: P360 Fall League

The fall season in officially underway with many players participating in local fall leagues. The Prep Baseball Report staff was on hand to cover the P360 Fall Wood Bat League for the final two weeks of action. The league plays host to several players from the metro area. Today we will take a look at several unsigned seniors from the five week league.
Jack Hilton, LHP, Brandon, 2018
Hulky 6-foot-1, 225-pound frame. Left-handed pitcher throwing from high-3/4 release with medium, loose arm action and regular effort. Repeatable delivery with shoulder tilt working down mound, landing in-line working around front side falling slightly to third base side. Fastball sat 81-83 mph with occasional arm side run and arm side miss. Breaking ball show big 1/7 shape with early action at 71-73 mph. Displayed feel for both pitches throwing both consistently for strikes.
Spencer Wright, OF, Madison-Ridgeland Academy, 2018
Small 5-foot-11, 140-pound frame with room for added strength. Left-handed hitter that hits from crouched, balanced stance. Subtle leg left with short stride, line-drive/ground ball contact, and slight uphill finish. In the outfield, he has average hands and footwork, with a clean exchange into a medium, high-¾ arm stroke with accuracy on throws.
Landon Cochran, RHP, Madison-Ridgeland Academy, 2018
Long, skinny 6-foot-2, 185-pound frame. Right-handed pitcher throwing from high-3/4 release with short arm action and regular effort. Good rhythm and repeatable tempo in his delivery with regular effort. Level shoulders working down the mound with in-line direction and athletic finish. Fastball sat 78-80 mph, with occasional lateral action and thrown for a strike. Breaking ball showed 11/5 with developing spin at 68-69 mph.
Sam Ciacco, 1B, Jackson Academy, 2018
Medium 6-foot, 180-pound frame. The left-handed hitter starts from a tall stance, with high hands smooth-early load back, and short stride. Front arm bar gets barrel on plane early with slight uphill finish through contact. Defender with deliberate footwork with average hands, working through the ball after the catch.
Keonte Carter, 1B/RHP, Terry, 2018
Medium 5-foot-11, 205-pound frame. Right-handed pitcher works from a high-3/4 slot with a medium arm circle. Smooth rhythm, drop-and-drive delivery, landing in-line and fairly athletic finish. Fastball sat 78-80 mph, touching 82 mph with flat action and developing command. Breaking ball has 11/5 shape and developing spin at 68-69 mph. Right-handed hitter that has a balanced, neutral set-up. Quick load into a short stride, landing slightly open at foot-strike. Length in swing with slight uphill path and average bat speed.
Sam Brooks, RHP, Madison-Ridgeland Academy, 2018
Skinny 6-foot-1, 150-pound frame, with room for added strength. Right-handed pitcher that throws from ¾ release, with long, loose arm action and easy effort. Starts with closed front side and solid balance. Slow, fluid rhythm with even shoulder, in-line direction, falling off to the first base side in finish. Fastball showed occasional sinking action at 77-80 mph. Slider had 10/5-shape with fastball arm speed at 69-71 mph.
