Commitment Tracker: February 15 - 21, 2019
We are within one week of the high school season kicking off and college coaches are still working to secure prospects for their coming years. This week 5 North Carolina seniors made their pledges to play baseball at a school beginning next fall. This brings the unofficial count to 360 2019 graduates that have committed to play baseball at the next level.
Commitment Notes
+ Samuel Walker (SS, NW Cabarrus HS, 2019) shined at the Preseason All-State in late January. A good athlete with twitch, Walker showed enough arm to stay on the left side of the field moving forward. The bat should play as he continues to get reps. A two-sport athlete in high school, Walker will work to his ceiling quickly as he joins Catawba Valley CC in the fall.
