Future Games 2021: Team Carolinas Day 1 Quick Hitters

Sammy Esposito
PBR SC Director of Scouting

The PBR Future Games has quickly become the top recruiting stop for college coaches across the country.  Hundreds of college coaches from all over the country head to LakePoint, in Emerson, GA, to see the best of the best.  The PBR Future Games feature the top uncommitted, underclass players in the country, all in one spot.

Beginning Wednesday July 28, 2021, Team Carolina, made up of NC and SC underclass players, will begin their journey through the Future Games.  Wednesday is a workout day with position players going through a full pro-style workout.  Thursday, Friday, and Saturday will feature live game play with Team Carolina taking on Team Florida, Team Georgia, and Team Mid-Atlantic.

Wednesday’s workout day featured Team Carolinas position players going through a full pro-style workout.  All position players will be put through a showcase workout in which they will run 60s, take batting practice and be evaluated at their primary position. Players took multiple rounds of BP with Blast Motion sensors on their bats, tracking swing analytics, and TrackMan tracking ball flight information.  Below are some quick notes from the 1st days batting practice.
