Impact Spotlight: Three Uncommitted Arms from the 2019 Rankings

Brandon Hall
North Carolina Director of Scouting

The Impact Spotlight continues to highlight uncommitted players that may make an impact at the next level.  Each player spotlighted has attended a PBR event, securing a full PBR profile with an evaluation, statistics, and a video.  Players attending PBR events are able to connect with over 800+ college coaches and pro scouts that subscribe to PBR.  Inside the Impact Spotlight, each player will have evaluations and video available.

This week begins a look at several uncommitted 2019 players that are in the most updated state of North Carolina rankings.  Cooper McKeehan (LHP, Weddington HS) is a 6-foot-2, 185 pounder that worked up to 82 at the Top Underclass Games in August.  A big ceiling may be ahead of McKeehan as his fastball tends to play harder than the gun reading and the breaking ball has tight, late action at 66-67.  McKeehan is currently No. 65 in the state in the 2019 class.
