PBR was on hand for several first round games in the NC High School State Tournaments.  While there were many stars through the Tuesday and Wednesday games, the arms stood out for the PBR scouts in attendance.

Ledford HS turned to one of their aces to get them going in the single game elimination tournament, running 2019 NC State commit, Chris Villaman.  Villaman entered the back half of the season as the No. 1 ranked player in the 2019 class.  A fastball that has been up to 93, with advanced control, is coupled with two different breaking balls and a change, that have all earned big outs in their history.  On Tuesday night, Villaman did not have his best stuff but did throw a no-hitter.

At Alexander Central, Sun Valley HS visited for the 1st round game.  Central turned to 2020 LHP Bryson Hammer.
