Mooresville Wins 4-3 in Extra Innings

PBR of North Carolina was on hand Saturday March 28th when the Mooresville Blue Devils hosted the East Rowan Mustangs. The Mustangs game in with a record of 9-0 with the Blue Devils coming in at 3-6.
East Rowan jumped to an early lead, scoring in the 1st when Griffin Warden singled home Cobb Hightower and again in the 3rd when Morgan Padgett singled home Griffin Warden. Mooresville got their first run in the 4th when the inning started with a double by Aiden Picciano followed by a Corbin Clonch single. Picciano would score later that inning on an East Rowan miscue. The Blue Devils added 2 more runs that inning on hits by Drew Park and Rowan Jackson. The Mustangs would answer back in the top of the 5th tying the game at 3 taking advantage of an error by the Mooresville defense.
With the score still tied at 3 East Rowan would get their first 2 guys on in the top of the 8th but Blue Devil starter Chad Harvey would get a strikeout followed by 6-4-3 double play to end the inning. Picciano would get his second hit of the day to start the bottom of 8th and steal 2nd on the very next pitch. Clonch then dropped down a bunt and the throw would go up the right field line allowing Picciano to score from second base and give Mooresville an exciting walk-off win.
