NC Insider: Overall 2020 Rankings - Quick Hitters

Brandon Hall
North Carolina Director of Scouting

On Wednesday Prep Baseball Report released our updated Overall Rankings for the 2020 class.  The expanded rankings feature 300 players from across the PBR map.  The “boots on the ground” philosophy of PBR gives a unique look at the rankings as state directors from each territory work to compile and update their rankings, turning the information over to national crosscheckers and supervisors to put the finishing touches on the class rankings.

In the updated rankings, North Carolina is well represented, featuring 20 players in the Top 300.  Liam Norris (LHP, Green Hope HS) continues to lead NC players, at No. 5 in the overall ranking.  The biggest jump in the rankings comes from Clemson commit, Jake Harwood (SS, Whiteville HS).  Harwood played really well this fall, including a week long stint in Florida in front of several of PBR’s top brass.
