2 6 ATHLETICS VS C35 2024'S
The 2 6 Athletics and C35 2024s squared off for two games in the ONSL Futures League on Sunday, March 7th. In game one the Athletics took advantage of miscues and free bases to end the game in 3 innings by a score of 12-0. CJ Collins set the tone for the Athletics filling up the strike zone. Donovan Whitfield helped expand the lead in the 2nd inning hitting a laser over the left field wall for a homerun.
Game 2 was a much cleaner game that was tied at 2 until Antonio Rentas hit a line drive to left for a sac fly to put the Athletics up 3-2. Four players pitched for the Athletics combining to strike out 8 with only one walk.
