PBR will run two event simultaneously at the Ultimate Performance facility in Matthews, NC on Monday February 4th.  The first event features players from the Ultimate Performance baseball program.  At the same time players from across North Carolina will take part in the Queen City Preseason Open Scout Day.

Players will run through a modified pro-style workout.  Players will run through several agility stations and run a laser timed 30 yard dash.  During the defensive session, catchers will be able to throw a full pop time to 2B.  Infielders will workout on a modified infield getting reps and throwing across the diamond.  Outfielders will be able to stretch their arm in the spacious facility showing off the ability to be accurate with arm strength.  Offensively, hitters will roll through several offensive stations, including an exit velocity station, as well as a live, open cage where they can see the ball fly.  Finally, the pitchers will throw a controlled bullpen for PBR scouts where their evaluation will include stuff, delivery, arm action, arm speed, and command.

This will be PBR's 2nd time in the gorgeous venue in Matthews, NC.  Equipped with a hit trax, full weight room, and tons of room to play catch and work speed and agility, Ultimate Performance allows players to work during any weather conditions to continue their development.
