Rolesville's Grant Holman (RHP, 2020) and Jayden Bailey (RHP, 2020) limited Garner to 2 runs (1 earned) on 4 hits while walking 3. Homan earned the win, working into the 5th. Bailey closed teh final 2.1 innings for the save, throwing 20 of his 35 pitches for strikes.
Rolesville's offense was led by Michael Gupton (CF, 2022), an NC State commit, who was 2 for 3 with two runs scored and two stolen bases.
