Throughout the spring season, PBR has its team of scouts out watching games across North Carolina.  As game reports are filed on teams and players, the 2019 NC HS Scout Blog will feature some of the players that pop.  Last week PBR was able to attend the Willson Tobs HS Classic, featuring 8 teams in 4 games.  Scouts were also in attendance at games in the Triangle and Charlotte regions.  Below are some of the uncommitted 2019 graduates that should still be receiving interest this spring from potential college fits.

 

Uncommitted 2019 Prospects

Dominick D’Ercole, RHP/3B, Middle Creek HS, 2019
D'Ercole threw in a tightly contested matchup at Holly Springs HS against fellow 2019 grad, Matt Willadsen.  D'Ercole held his own with the potential draft pick, taking the loss in 6 innings of work, only allowing 2 runs.  Below is the report filed by PBR scouts in attendance:
Strength present in a 6-foot, 185 pound frame.  Average tempo and simple delivery with standard 3/4 slot.  Slightly across is line at foot strike, creating some deception.  Level down the hill, hides the ball and works with a 3 pitch mix.  Fastball ranged
