Weddington & Sun Valley in a Game 3 Thriller

Game 3 of the week's 3 game conference series went to Weddington as the Warriors take the series 2-1.  The Warriors used a 4 run 3rd and 2 run 4th to build a 6-1 lead.  Sun Valley answered back with 3 in the bottom of the 4th and plated 1 on Weddington closer Maverik Schrock in the 6th.  Schrock answered back, slamming the door with 3 outs on 12 pitches in the 7th.

After Friday, Weddington moved to 7-2 overall and 2-1 in the Southern Carolina 4A. They will play Piedmont HS in a three game series this week.  Sun Valley fell to 5-3, 1-2 in conference play.  The Spartans will play Marvin Ridge in a 3 game set this week.
