Team New Jersey: Top Performers

The 2023 Future Games wrapped up over the weekend showcasing some of the top uncommitted underclassmen in the country. With a new Future Games record of 375 college coaches in attendance, the Future Games continues to maintain the highest status as the top recruiting event in the country.
Below, we've compiled some of the names that stood out from the Garden State.

Braeden Lipoff C / Gloucester Catholic, NJ / 2026Rankings StateRank: 9 / POS: 1
Currently ranked No.9 in New Jersey 2026 class, positionally No. 1 overall. The broad shouldered 6-foot, 190 pound frame. Had a tremendous Future Game showing. In the workout portion LIpoff ran a 7.3 60 yard dash. 94 mph exit velo during batting practice. Behind the plate threw in the 1.85-1.97 range. Athletic mover. In game he showed he belonged and some. Hitting baseballs 102, 99, and 97 mph off the bat. In game 2 against Team Texas Lipoff hit a mammoth pull side Grand Slam earning himself player of the game. Found barrel in every game played posting a .333 avg (3-9) with 4 rbi’s, 4 runs scored, .OBP of .400, OPS of 1.067. The rising sophomore is a true power threat in the batter's box. Tall setup, put together lower half, aggressive first move, tons of ext. Off the charts strength. Premier power hitting catcher.

Mason Wilson SS / Randolph, NJ / 2026The 5-foot-10, 160 pound frame. Impressed during NJ state games but he came to Georgia to show what he could do. Wilson didn’t disappoint. Very put together athletically. On workout day he ran a 6.7. Hit the ball 92 mph in batting practice. Throwing velo was 85 mph. In game production: 2-4 (.500) 2 runs scored, 4 rbi’s, .714 on base %, 1.000 slg %, 1.714 ops.In game 1 with two strikes wilson crushed an oppo double for two rbi’s. Possessed the ability to stay connected throughout his swing. Never looked overmatched. On defense has the ability to throw from different angles with accuracy. High ceiling, name to follow.

Guy Lynam 3B / Gloucester Catholic , NJ / 2026Currently ranked No.4 in New Jersey 2026 class, positionally (3B) No.1 overall. Lynam took care of business. Competitor. Super toolsy LHH, tremendous bat to ball, with emerging power. More size and strength on the way. On workout day he ran a 7.0 60 yard dash. Hitting exit velo was 95.5 mph. Max hitting distance was 349ft. Infield throwing velo 88 mph. In game production: 3-8 (.375) 2 runs scored, 2 rbi, .500 on base %, .500 slg %, 1.000 ops. On the mound Lynm picked up two saves; spinning his breaking ball upwards of +2800rpms paired with a heater 84-88 mph. In game barrels consisted of a 96, 98, and a 100 mph. Fluid operator in everything he does. Excited to see where this prospect ends up this time next year.

Joey Erace SS / St. Augustine Prep, NJ / 2025Rankings StateRank: 27 / POS: 8
The 5-foot-8, 145 pound frame, athletic middle infielder. Showed many attributes this week in Georgia that will translate to college baseball. On workout day Erace ran a 6.84 60 yard dash. Hitting EV was 92.7 with a max distance of 341 feet. From SS he clocked in at 92 mph which ranked as one of the top velos in the whole event. In the game the production was there driving in 3 runs, stealing 3 bases, hitting the ball hard on a consistent basis. The speed is a plus tool and it is translatable in everything that Erace does.

William Mahala OF / Seton Hall Prep, NJ / 2025Rankings StateRank: 25 / POS: 3
6-foot-2, 185 pound frame, toolsed up LHH outfielder. Put on a show all week in Georgia at the 2023 Future Games. His ability to find barrels in game, is an elite attribute of Mahala’s very Hunter Pence like. On workout day he ran a 6.54 60 yard dash this is no fluke he also ran a 6.57 at the NJ state games. Hitting EV 96.4 mph with a max distance of 322 feet. The OF velo was 80 mph. In game production consisted of a 3-11 (.273) 3 runs scored, 1 rbi, 2 stolen bases. Wide base with a very twitchy barrel. Aggressive approach, was ready to hit in every at bat.

Bennett Siegel OF / West Windsor South, NJ / 2025Currently ranked No.6 in New Jersey 2025 class, after surging onto the scene this high school season. Marciano has been circulating buzz ever since. He came into the 2023 Future Game with quite the resume, highlighting in particular his 16 strikeout performance to win the 2023 Ocean County tournament throwing in the 84-88 range all spring long. The southpaw is very poised and looks the part. His fastball was 84-86 with a 2/8 breaking ball around 71-73. In 3 innings of work he picked up 6 strikeouts. The ability to mix and match. The repeatability. The composure. Very intriguing prospect. Name to follow!

He came into the 2023 Future Game with quite the resume, highlighting in particular his 16 strikeout performance to win the 2023 Ocean County tournament throwing in the 84-88 range all spring long. The southpaw is very poised and looks the part. His fastball was 84-86 with a 2/8 breaking ball around 71-73. In 3 innings of work he picked up 6 strikeouts. The ability to mix and match. The repeatability. The composure. Intriguing prospect.

Luke Wood LHP / Pennsville, NJ / 2025Rankings StateRank: 15 / POS: 4
Currently ranked No.15 in New Jersey 2025 class, the crafty southpaw. Competitive; wants to win mentality. Short leg lift with quick levers. Fluid arm action. Fastball was 83-86, CH 73-76, and CB 71-74. Over 2 innings of work in the 2023 Future Games Wood K’d 3. Has clean timing down the mound with lower half and poise above his years.

Dawson Guerard RHP / Roxbury, NJ / 2025Broad-shouldered/durable 6-foot-3, 220-pound frame.. Featured a fastball at 84-87 paired with a CB at 73-77 and a CH at 75. In 3 innings of work he picked up 3 K’s. Fastball has some ride up in the zone. The wingspan of Guerard for sure makes it an uncomfortable at bat. It's a come right at you feel. Fastball plays a tick up. Showed great composure on the mound. Impressive outings from the right hander.

Brendan Lewis RHP / St. Joseph's Montvale, NJ / 2025Rankings StateRank: 106 / POS: 24
5-foot-11, 180 pound frame. Athletic, built lower half, uphill action. Filled the zone up. In 3 innings of work Lewis picked up 7K’s. Efficient mixing a 84-88 mph fastball, Cb 70-76, and a CH at 78. The ability to punch out 7 of his 9 outs, is impressive. Especially in an event like this. Nice upside for Lewis. Look out for the arm.

Joseph Vaccarella RHP / Gloucester Catholic, NJ / 2025Rankings StateRank: 20 / POS: 8
Broad shouldered athletic 6-foot-4 210-pounds. Fastball showed some lift up in the zone, up to 87.5 on Trackman. Showcased two different breakers, a smaller, harder cutter at 76 and a slider at 73 with bigger 10/4 break. Showcased a splitter with some armside action, too. Repeatable mechanics with some effort to the finish. Vaccarella has some projection left in the tank.

Matthew Ferrara SS / Toms River East, NJ / 2025Athletic 5-foot-10 160-pounds with some room to fill out. Ran the 60 in 7.09-seconds and exit velocity toppped at 91.8mph during the workout portion. Rhythm in hands with some fluidity and whip to the bat path. Composed, feel for the barrel. Impressed with BP rounds and adjustability at the plate during gameplay. Rangey, athletic infielder. Curtis Chropuvka OF / Ranney, NJ / 20256-foot-175 pound frame, during batting practice hit 89 exit velo, with a max distance of 301 feet. OF velo of 79 mph. ATH setup, bat wiggle to start, simple stride, hitterish attributes. In game play he went 3 for 8 (.375) earning GM3 player of the game vs Team Indiana. Chropuvka had a .444 OB% with 3 stolen bases. High academic kid with a strong frame.

James Hare RHP / Ranney, NJ / 2025Rankings StateRank: 12 / POS: 5
Currently ranked No.12 in New Jersey 2025 class, showcased a fastball 84-89 with a true 12/6 breaking ball at 72-76 mph. Hare is coming off a nice high school showing. Broad shouldered/durable right handed pitcher. With some more development this arm could turn into a premier starter. High academic.

Ryan Holman RHP / Delbarton , NJ / 2025Rankings StateRank: 33 / POS: 11
6-foot-185 pound frame, the right hander has a fastball at 83-86 with a 12/6 breaker at 68-73 and a CH 75-76. Holman was a key reliever for a powerhouse high school in Delbarton. Look for him to add velo to compliment that breaking ball.

Zack Kochnover OF / Demarest, NJ / 2025Rankings StateRank: 55 / POS: 7
6-foot-1,185 pound frame, sets up with a wide base. Toe roll, keeps his head still. In batting practice he produced a 93 exit velo with a max distance of 348 feet. Ran a 6.87 60 yard dash. Threw 79 mph from the OF. In game 1 and game 3 Kochnover smoked two pullside singles through the 6 hole. The single in game 1 was off a 92 mph fastball to jumpstart the offense.

Andrew Parisi C / Ranney, NJ / 2025Rankings StateRank: 17 / POS: 1
6-foot-3, 205 pound frame, comes back for year two at the Future Games. No stranger to Lakepoint. The power hitting C/1B in batting practice produced a 95 exit velo, max distance of 349 feet, impressive carry on the ball, C pop time was 2.07-2.14. Parisi produced one in-game hit with 3 runs scored. Strong frame with power potential.

JR Rosado C / Bridgewater-Raritan, NJ / 2025Rankings StateRank: 30 / POS: 2
5-foot-8,165 pound frame, has an athletic base, leg kick start, 90 mph exit velo during batting practice with a max distance of 327 feet. The catch and throw is an elite tool for Rosado, shooting down to second in 1.92-2.01 range. Quick feet, in and out of the glove, gets over the front leg with balance, accurate on the bag. In the game kept everything in front, sticks pitches with ease, at the plate worked some BB’s, fighting at bats.

Carter Grande 3B / St. Joseph's Montvale, NJ / 2025Rankings StateRank: 43 / POS: 1
6-foot-190 pound frame, Super athletic frame, proportional strength, high ceiling. In the workout Grande ran a 7.2 60 yard dash. 90 mph exit velo with a max distance of 327 feet. Infield velo is 83 mph. In game he possessed the ability to make the routine play. On the hitting side maintained a .400 OB%. Get into early load, simple movements.
