New York Insider: Updated 2015 Player Rankings Released

We are still 45 days away from high school baseball games across the Empire State, but the rich NY talent is fired up and ready to go. The Prep Baseball Report New York scouting staff has once again reevaluated New York's Class of 2015 rankings. With no movement in the top three, our top ten sees two new faces. Competition for the top-spot is starting to become more and more clear as the months go by. With what was arguably a coin flip this summer between Garrett Whitley and Wesley Rodriguez, has recently steered hard towards the Niskayuna OF superstar - who has never played 'high-level travel ball' yet preferring local legion baseball near his home town. Showing special packages can come from some of the smallest places.  Garrett Whitley, OF (Niskayuna HS) again locks down the top-spot in the state with his impressive athleticism both offensively and defensively. His professional career will likely be spent roaming center-field, developing into a day-in-day-out professional hitter. Recently Whitley showed his power potential that all the Northeast scouts love producing a 100 mph exit velocity off a tee. For now, the athletic OF is slated to take his next-level game to the campus of Wake Forest.
