Commitment Q & A: Meet Jacob Schettine

Jared Carrier
Director of Scouting, NY

AROUND THE CAGEParker Hendershot

This week we strike up a conversation with recently committed 2017 LHP Jacob Schettine of Marcellus HS (Ranked No. 96 overall in our latest 2017 rankings). Schettine demonstrates feel for his secondary offerings which allow him to get crossover outs at the next level. Curveball can lock up Lefties, while his change will produce easy outs from right-handed hitters. Although not an overpowering fastball; he's shown no fear on getting inside versus RHH.

I've met many great friends along the way.
