Commitment Tracker: December 27 - January 10, 2019

The Commitment Tracker took one week off as most of the baseball coaching world headed to Dallas, TX for the annual American Baseball Coaches Association convention.  Coaches and schools still took the opportunity of the New Year to continue to add talent to their rosters.

Over the past two weeks, PBR of North Carolina has tracked 11 commitments from North Carolina, all of them from the 2019 class.  To date 322 players in the 2019 class have committed to play baseball at the next level.  Compared to the 2018 class, who saw 377 commitments logged into PBR, the 2019 class is well on its way to surpassing the mark of their predecessors.  The 2019 class may be deeper that the 2018 class, but some of the adjustment comes from players and coaches continuing to update PBR with commitments as they are on the site more and more.

Mid-Atlantic Christian continues to build their initial roster with two more additions over the past two weeks.  Each player is coming from West Lincoln HS.  Erskine’s staff added two more NC players as well as their staff has spent a lot of time on North Carolina talent in the 2018 class.  Catawba also added two 2019 grads, staying near home with one out of Carson HS and one from West Rowan HS.
