This week we take one final look at the roster from our Maryland Unsigned Senior Games at Harford Community College. Today we continue with a full analysis of the corner infielders from the event. 

 

MARYLAND UNSIGNED SENIOR GAMES CORNER INFIELDERS (LISTED ALPHABETICALLY)

Will Behm 1B/3B Dulaney 2019
Athletic, solid body type and 5-foot-9, 180 pound frame. Hits from a balanced, athletic, square stance at the plate. Quick, short stride and compact swing. Strong lower half involvement and stays behind the ball well. Gets uphill through contact showing some bat speed. Short, level swing path with an exit velo of 78 mph. Gap-to-gap line drives type hitter with occasional pop. Was 1-for-2 in the game. Plays with active feet and works through the ball at first base. Showed quick footwork around the bag and soft hands. Short arm action throwing from a low three-quarter slot.

Noah Cerrud-Osmer OF/1B Walter Johnson 2019
Big, solid body type and 6-foot-2, 220 pound frame. Cerrud-Osmer hits from a balanced, athletic, slightly open, wide base at the plate with minimal movement. Small pick it up - put it down front foot stride and slight back load. Does a nice job with lower half and remains balanced throughout swing. Stays behind the ball well and showed quick hands and fast bat speed. Exit velo was up to 95 mph. Shorter, level swing path with ability to put balls in gaps with ease. Showed some present strength at the plate during BP as well. Moves well at first base and showed fluid footwork turning the double play. Quick, clean exchanges throwing with shorter arm action from a high three-quarter slot at 81 mph. Also ran a 7.25 60-yard dash.

Joseph Davis RHP/3B Appoquinimink (DE) 2019
Athletic, lankier body type and 5-foot-11, 150 pound frame. Hits from a balanced, athletic, square stance at the plate. Smooth back load with a high leg kick. Explosive lower half, quick hands, and fast bat speed. Attacks the ball and swings with intent. Exit velo was 83 mph. Short, slightly uphill swing path with a one-handed finish. Gap-to-gap type hitter with present pull-side power. Plays third base with active feet and plays through the ball. Showed soft hands and a clean exchange. Shorter arm action throwing form a high three-quarter slot at 85 mph. Ran a 7.53 60-yard dash.

Patrick DeFeciani 1B/LHP Clarkstown North (NY) 2019
Solid body type and 6-foot-1, 185 pound frame. Hits from the left side in an athletic, balanced, square stance. Minimal movement and short back load. Strong lower half involvement and nice extension through contact. Quick hands and bat speed. Exit velo was 85 mph. Used all fields well during BP and showed some strength and gap-to-gap power. Plays through the ball at first base with soft hands and showed fluid footwork around the bag turning the double play. Long arm action throwing from a high three-quarter slot at 77 mph.

Terrell Delaney RHP/3B CH Flowers 2019
Solid, compact, athletic body type and 5-foot-11, 185 pound frame. Hits from a balanced, athletic, square stance at the plate. Rock back load creating nice hand separation. Stays behind the ball well with some lower half involvement and bat speed. Short, direct, slightly uphill swing path with an exit velo of 67 mph. Line drive type hitter. Plays through the ball at third base with soft hands. Funnels ball to chest and showed quick, clean exchanges. Throws with long arm action from a low three-quarters slot at 72 mph. Ran a 7.66 60 yard dash.

Tommy Fitzpatrick 1B/OF Mt. Hebron 2019
Tall, lanky, athletic body type and projectable frame at 6-foot-2, 185 pounds. Hits from a taller, balanced, slightly open stance. Quick back, leg kick load and creates nice separation. Generates some lower half involvement and showed quick hands and fast bat speed. Short, slightly uphill swing path with an exit velo of 75 mph. Gap-to-gap type hitter with pull-side power. Big target at first base. Plays through the ball with active feet and soft hands. Showed smooth actions around the bag and turning the double play. Quick, clean exchanges throwing with long arm action from a high three-quarter slot at 73 mph.

Ryan Kulick 1B Howard 2019
Solid 5-foot-11, 200 pound frame. Hits from a tall, balanced, slightly open stance. Short back load with a toe tap for timing. Gets some lower half involvement and hits from back side. Stays behind the ball well and showed the ability to spray the ball well to all fields. Quick hands and quick bat speed with a short, slightly uphill swing path. Gap-to-gap type hitter with occasional pop, exit velo 80 mph. Went 1-for-3 in the game. Has a tendency to wait on the ball at first base. Showed a clean exchange and good footwork around the bag. Long arm action throwing from a high three-quarters slot at 79 mph.

Jacob Rostkowski RHP/1B South Carroll 2019
Long, lanky body type and projectable 6-foot-6, 210 pound frame with room to fill out. Hits from a balanced, athletic, open stance. Small back load and short stride. Creates nice hand separation. Quick bat speed and showed good extension through contact. Strong lower half involvement at times, would like to see more consistency. Stays behind the ball and has a short uphill swing path. Gap-to-gap type hitter with some pop. Exit velo up to 83 mph. Big target at first base. Showed solid fundamental footwork and clean exchanges. Longer arm action throwing from a high three-quarter slot at 72 mph. Ran a 7.52 60 yard dash.

John Shinnamon 1B Howard 2019
Big, solid body type and 5-foot-11, 230 pound frame. Hits from a taller, balanced, closed stance with feet shoulder width apart. Sinks into lower half during load. Creates very nice separation and generates strong lower half involvement. Showed quick bat speed and good extension. Swings with intent. Short, uphill swing path with an exit velo of 75 mph. Power type hitter. Plays through the ball at first base with a small glove tap during exchange. Long arm action throwing from a high three-quarter slot at 62 mph.

Brett Swift 3B/OF James M. Bennett 2019
Big, solid 6-foot-2, 218 pound body and frame. Hits from a taller open stance. Rock back load and high leg kick for rhythm and timing. Gets good separation and showed stronger lower half involvement and quick bat speed. Slightly uphill swing path on the day. Gap-to-gap type hitter with some pull-side power. Went 1-for-3 with a double in the game. Plays through the ball at third base with a quick, clean exchange. Long arm action throwing from a lower three-quarters arm slot.
