Scouting Report
Norsen is a solid 6-foot-2, 195 pounds. He ran a
4.73 home-to-1B. Offensively-  Starts at the plate in a tall stance with his hands right next to his head. Uses a controlled load; some length in the swing but finds the back of the ball; respectable exit velocity of  86 MPH. Solid line drive results. Improved lower half effort will allow for him to tap into his power potential. Defensively-  At 1B Norsen showed a soft glove; out in front with forehands and playing through the ball to his backhand side. Footwork releasing from the bag crosses over and he’s a bit upright when fielding.  Arm strength showed  72 MPH . Pitching-  Brian begins with his feet at 45 degree angle and moves into a short quick side step. Displays a belly button high balance point; cross fire action created by slight stride to the arm side. Arm action is long  and fluid; working through a low ¾ ot ¾ slot.  Fastball sits  81-83 MPH. Curveball has good movement from right to left coming in at  72-74 MPH , while the Change-up sits  68-70 MPH; needs feel.

Quick Hit
"Norsen already has a next level physical frame at 6-foot-2; 195 pounds. Creates some lift at the plate with and easy effort swing; moves well around the bag at 1B. A bit too early to cast a long term prediction but early indicators point to Norsen becoming an above average arm. Repeats his delivery; works downhill and can use all three of his pitches. Norsen will be a part of several intriguing arms that will be in attendance at  our NY All-Star Games in Amsterdam on September 17th."
