Durfee stands 5-foot-11, 170-pounds with an athletic frame. From the OF he stays behind the ball, fields outside of his glove side, quick exchange, needs to get his footwork down better, long arm action, throws from a high-3/4 slot, arm strength at 83 mph with carry. From the plate his setup is wide. On the pitch no stride, drives his hands inside the ball, short path, level through the zone, extension out in front, shoulder height finish, exit velocity was 75 mph off a tee, home to first time was 4.51, pro agility time was 4.28.

Analysis
There's a lot to like from the Ballston Spa Junior on the baseball field. Strong, athletic frame meaning he his body can hold another 5-10 pounds. He has great explosiveness laterally shown by his 4.28 pro agility time, a test I feel is extremely valuable on the diamond. His athletic ability transfers to his arm where he shows signs of next-level velocity, already 83 mph with some quick hand speed. Durfee will be in attendance at our Inaugural Preseason All-State Invite-Only Feb. 15, look for him to impress.
