At the plate he generated torque from the lower half and core yielding bat speed up to 76 MPH; He stays behind the ball well with pull side power and natural backspin ( 97 MPH EV / 82% Fly ball/ 376' max dist.) To finish the day one of the most impressive things we saw was the fastball off the mound having a max spin rate of 2710 RPM while topping at 90 MPH giving him elite life (31 max Spin Score) through the zone while also flashing feel for a high spin, swing & miss  slider that got up to 19" horizontal break & -6" of vertical drop. Giovanni put together one of the most impressive all around performances we have seen this year.
