CEVETTE'S QUICK HIT: We first saw Helmstadt back in July at our Campus Series near Albany, NY. He shows a wiry build with room to gain weight to his frame as he matures. He worked out at both the infield and from the mound, but the recent Stony Brook commit will make his college baseball presence felt as a pitcher only. The arm-swing is long with a slow pace to his delivery. Already shows some arm-strength touching 85 mph with room for growth from the FB, the CB shows spin and shape. Excited to see his progress over the next two years.
