Gets rid of the ball quickly. As an infielder, Ruth gets to a good fielding position before attacking the baseball. Ruth’s active footwork allows him to play all over the field. Ruth increased his positional velocity from 75 to 79 MPH in the defensive workout. The 2021 graduate is a must follow.

The top throwing velocity as 75 MPH.

A lean 5-foot-8, 135 pounds. Ran a 8.05 60 yard dash. Offensively- Tall stance with hands close to the body. Simple load before attacking the baseball. A flat barrel in the hitting zone with two hand finish. Balanced throughout the swing. Exit velocity was 76 MPH. Defensively- Active footwork fields the ball slightly off center. Average transfer to a quick release from a ¾ arm slot. Throws across the diamond peaked at 66 MPH
