Scouting Report
Physical: 5-foot-9, 145-pounds. Athletic build; able to hold more. 6.57 runner in the 60; 4 home-to-1B.
Offensively: RHH. Starts open with an upright and narrow stance; big leg kick into long stride; hands stay shoulder level. Quick hands through the zone; able to spray the ball all over; short flat barrel through the zone. Showed power to the middle of the field, consistent line drives. 82 MPH raw exit velocity.
Defensively: Pro step into low line drive throws; fundamental footwork to get himself around the ball; fields the ball on his glove foot side. 3/4 arm slot; long arm swing. OF - 80 MPH.
Stands 5-foot-8, 135-pounds will room for physical gains. At the plate, he uses an open narrow stance, leg lift and stride for timing, aggressive barrel path, level through contact, pull-side power. Defensively, moves quick to the ball, fields on his glove side, quick clean release from a high 3/4 slot, carry to home-plate, fun prospect to keep eyes on from CNY.
