Aidan Looney, OF, Alfred-Almond HS, NY (2017) Stands at 5-foot-11, 163 pounds, with a lean athletic body build.  He ran a 4.23 Home to 1st from the left-hand side.  He has a smooth approach through the ball, with good hands, throws with a high 3/4 arm action, plays through the ball nicely and has accuracy on the target.  His arm strength was at 77 MPH.  At the plate his setup is relaxed and balanced stance, short stride, with a clean back load.  His hands are very compact and strong, swinging on a level plane, and has shoulder to high finish with nice extension through the ball.  His exit velocity was 73 MPH.

Samuel Murray, C, Penfield HS, NY (2016) Stands at 5-foot-8, 140 pounds, with an athletic body build.  He ran a 4.57 Home to 1st from the right-hand side.  As a catcher, he throws with a clean loose action.  He receives the ball with smooth, soft hands and has a clean transfer.  He blocks the ball nicely and keeps everything in front of him.  His pop times were consistently at 2.00 down to second base.  His arm strength was at 75 MPH.  At the plate his setup is relaxed and very balanced, short, quick stride, with a back load.  His hands are very compact, swinging on a level plane with good extension, with a shoulder finish through the ball.  His exit velocity was 70 MPH.  He is a player who shows potential to progress to the next level in college.

Tony Burlingame, OF/RHP, Horseheads HS, NY (2018) Stands at 5-foot-9, 145 pounds, with an athletic body build.  He ran a 4.28 Home to 1st from the left-hand side.  He has a smooth approach through the ball, with smooth, soft, quick hands, throws with a clean loose action, 3/4 arm action, plays through the ball nicely and has accuracy on the target.  His arm strength was at 77 MPH.  On the mound, he uses a simple side step, balanced delivery, arm action is fairly clean and loose, throws with an over the top arm slot.  He drives from balanced position and finishes over his front side consistently.  His fast ball was (71-74 MPH).  Curveball (63 MPH) had a 12 to 6 downward action and changeup (66 MPH) had a little late downward action.  At the plate his setup is relaxed, athletic, and very balanced, short stride, with a smooth load.  His hands are very compact and strong, swinging on a level plane with good extension through the ball.  His exit velocity was 80 MPH.  He is a young player who shows a lot of potential to progress to the next level in college.

Jake Zurat, C, Williamsville-North HS, NY (2017) Stands at 5-foot-9, 190 pounds, with an athletic body build.  He ran a 4.64 Home to 1st from the right-hand side.  As a catcher, he throws with cut off and after the throw recoils.  He receives the ball with smooth, soft hands and has a clean transfer.  He blocks the ball nicely and keeps everything in front of him.  His pop times were consistently at 2.04 down to second base.  His arm strength was 72 MPH.  At the plate setup is relaxed and balanced, short stride, with a back load.  His hands are long, over the plate, swinging with some uphill tilt, with a mid-section finish through the ball.  His exit velocity was 86 MPH.  He is a catcher who shows some potential to progress to the next level in college.

Christian Rizzolo, C/MIF, Fairport HS, NY (2016) Stands at 6-foot-0, 155 pounds, with an athletic body build.  He ran a 4.99 Home to 1st from the left-hand side.  As a catcher, he throws with a clean loose action.  He receives the ball with smooth, soft hands and has a clean transfer.  He blocks the ball nicely and keeps everything in front of him.  His pop times were consistently at 2.03 down to second base.  His arm strength was at 75 MPH.  At the plate his setup is relaxed and very balanced, short stride, with a minimal back load.  His hands are very compact and strong, swinging on a level plane with long/full extension through the ball, with a high finish through the ball.  His exit velocity was 75 MPH.

Thomas Watroba, LHP, Niagara Wheatfield HS, NY (2016)
stands 6-foot-1, 170-pounds with a lanky build. From the mound he uses a simple, relaxed side step into a high leg-kick, hands follow high. Shoulders stay on target, arm action is back and quick, throws from a high-3/4 slot. Fastball has natural arm-side run, sits 76-80 mph. Curveball shows proper spin, tight, late action under a RHH’s hands at 60-62 mph. Changeup has some fade actin at 65-66 mph. Watroba has all the signs of a true-pitcher with a solid three-pitch mix. Some added arm-strength will elevate his interest level.

William Frank, RHP, St. Josephs HS, NY (2016) stands 5-foot-11, 185-pounds with a thick lower half, broad shoulders. Above average from the mound, Frank uses a balanced delivery, hands above knee on separation, arm action is clean and quick, throws from a low-3/4 slot. Fastball sits 83-84, topping 87 with good hidden late action. Curveball is above average at 74-76 with hard, late 10/5 shape. Cerebral pitcher who is still uncommitted – but is a no-doubter at the next-level.

Samuel Rodriguez, LHP, Lancaster HS, NY (2017) stands 5-foot-5, 155-pounds with a stocky build, thick lower half. He uses a side-step, controlled delivery through release. Arm action is back and clean, throws from a high-3/4 slot, fastball sits 70-72 mph. Curveball shows early loose spin, 58-60 mph, slows arm some. Changeup sits 61-63 mph with a chance to be his out pitch. He needs to work on finishing all his pitches through release.

Casey Radka, RHP, Batavia HS, NY (2017) stands 6-foot-0, 150-pounds with a slender frame to build on. He uses a quicker tempo in this delivery, low leg kid, arm action is back and fluid, throws from a high-3/4 – over-the-top slot with shoulder tilt. Fastball sits 71-74 mph, curveball 62-65 with some side early action, changeup was 63 mph with some angle and dip. His finish was upright and needs to focus on following through his pitches better.

Bradley McAfee, LHP, Allegany-Limestone HS, NY (2016) stands 5-foot-10, 175-pounds with a strong build. On the mound he uses a side-step, good tempo, knee lift to the belt, hands stay high. Arm action is down and back, shoulders rotate early, front side opens early, throws from a high-3/4 slot. Fastball runs arm-side at 75-76 mph, curveball 60-62 with late 1/7 shape, change was 66-67.

Michael Ciccarone, RHP, Odyssey HS, NY (2016) stands 6-foot-0, 150-pounds with a frame that could easily hold more mass. From the mound he uses a side-step, good tempo in his delivery. Arm action is back towards SS, long and fluid. Fastball sits 79-81 mph with some arm sink, signs of more velocity to come. Curveball was at 70 mph, at times he gets around the ball, when his fingers stay on top it has late, 10/4 shape sweep, above average pitch. Changeup works down and fades at 67-69. Chance to be pretty good with some added strength.

Mitch Taylor, RHP, Tioga HS, NY (2018) has a slender but athletic build from the mound. Very controlled and balanced delivery, head stays locked in on target, clean arm action, throws from a high-3/4 slot. Fastball locked in around 75, topped 77 with signs of more in the tank, curveball has late action 10/4 shape, changeup when down had sink and hand speed. Young arm from the southern-tier that has a chance to be very good.
